- Blue Haywood's time as first lady is the fastest time I have any
record of

got the 10th place certificate (Jonny Quint - race number 725), but
don't feature on the results page, have I wrongly claimed 10th?!?! I
finished just a stride ahead of James Preston who is recorded as 2nd U18
in 28.51. Also, for the record, 4th placed Stuart
Huntingdon is 17 (DOB 2/12/1988 - see
http://www.athleticsdata.com/rankings/rankinglist.aspx?event=1500&year=2006&agegroup=U20&sex=O)
but was not accepted as a U18. Again, it's not a big issue, but thought
it might be worth mentioning. We appreciate that this is very difficult
to assess as some of our u15's have more facial hair than I do!
Jonathan Quint" - email received on 6 November. We did have
difficulty at this stage as runner number 10 turned away from the
timekeeper hiding his number.
